Brumas (2-1) recorded its first loss in Diriangen on Monday night. Visitors were edged by seventh ranked Cacique D. (2-2) 82-80. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Brumas. The best player for the winners was forward Jeremy Agosto who scored 28 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Dominican forward Xavier de la Rosa (196-91) chipped in 29 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. American Timothy Simmons (195-92, college: DBU) produced 33 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and the other American import point guard Martell Miller (180, college: Calumet) added 13 points and 16 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Cacique D. moved-up to sixth place. Brumas at the other side dropped to the third position with one game lost. They share it with Leones MGA and Leon.
