Another exciting game was again a derby between two teams from Montevideo: Lagomar (#1) and Cordon (#2). Cordon was defeated at home 46-57 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Lagomar held Cordon to an opponent 21.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 35.0 percent accuracy of the winners. It was an exceptional evening for swingman Agustin Da Costa (191-98) who led the winners and scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Martin Larrea (188-0) accounted for 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Italian-Argentinian center Damian Tintorelli (205-81) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks and forward Emiliano Baston (202-88) added 6 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Cordon in the defeat. Lagomar (5-0) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 5 victories in a row. Cordon at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. They share it with Colon and L.Borges.
