Regular Season Round 4: Indios - Caneros 74-77

Important game to mention about took place in San Francisco. Second ranked Caneros (7-2) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 8th ranked Indios (3-7) 77-74 on Friday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Jeff Allen (201-87, college: Virginia Tech) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and the other American import point guard Isaiah Swann (188-85, college: FSU) who added 19 points during the contest. At the losing side naturalized American forward Ronald Roberts (203-91, college: St.Joseph's, agency: Pensack Sports) responded with 18 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and forward Juan Miguel Suero (196-93) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Caneros maintains second position with 7-2 record behind leader Metros. Indios at the other side stay at the bottom place with seven games lost. Caneros will play against league's leader Metros in Santiago in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Indios will play on the road against Reales (#6) in La Vega and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
