Regular Season Round 4: Hebraica - Capurro 89-30
Date: August 28, 2021
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: Hebraica (#4) and Capurro (#7). Hebraica (3-0) smashed visiting Capurro (1-3) by 59 points 89-30. Hebraica held Capurro to an opponent 21.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 45.9 percent accuracy of the winners. Hebraica forced 35 Capurro turnovers and outrebounded them 48-26 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Capurro's players. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Natasha Dolinsky (173-97, college: Lincoln, MO) who helped to win the game recording 19 points. Giuliana Perez contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Forward Florencia Mier (167-92) replied with 4 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Argentinian Abril Ramirez (167-0) added 6 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Capurro. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hebraica have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Lagomar. Capurro at the other side dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
