The game in supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Real Esteli (4-3) played at the court of 5th ranked Tipitapa (1-6). Real Esteli smashed Tipitapa 88-66 on Saturday. Real Esteli forced 20 Tipitapa turnovers and outrebounded them 56-41 including 35 on the offensive glass. American guard Diamond Richardson (177-93, college: UAPB) fired a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Forward Bryennis Thomas chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds. Real Esteli's coach felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Clenia Salazar produced a double-double by scoring 30 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and Stefany Garcia (-3) added 5 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Real Esteli maintains third place with 4-3 record having just one point less than leader No Fear. Tipitapa lost their sixth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with six games lost.
