The game between third ranked Leones (8-6) and fourth ranked Titanes (8-6) was the most important one in the last round on Wednesday night. Leones were defeated by Titanes in a tough game in Santo Domingo 70-75. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Leones. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Tyrone Nash (203-88, college: Notre Dame) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 8 rebounds. His fellow American import center Anthony Johnson (203-88, college: Fairfield) contributed with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Naturalized American Eddy Polanco (190-94, college: SE Louisiana) answered with 21 points and center Luis Santos (203-94, college: St.Louis) added 8 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Leones. Leones' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Titanes moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Leones.
