Quite upsetting was Panteras' 26-point home defeat in a game versus Libertadores who crushed hosts . They made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Libertadores made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was American power forward Anthony Young (200-89, college: KWC) who scored 24 points and 6 rebounds. The other American import guard Decensae White (198-88, college: SF State) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. White is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Libertadores players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international forward Idris Alvarado (196-91) who recorded 15 points and American guard Blake Hamilton (198-94, college: Buffalo) added 9 points and 5 assists respectively. Panteras' coach Sebastian Ginobili gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Libertadores (5-4) moved-up to second place, which they share with Plateros. Panteras at the other side keep the fourth position with five games lost. They share it with Soles. Libertadores will meet league's second-placed Plateros in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Panteras will play against Soles in Mexicali and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
