LSBF top team - No Fear (10-1) managed to deliver another win on Thursday. This time they beat fifth ranked Leonas (2-10) 65-55. No Fear dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Leonas' 32. No Fear forced 28 Leonas turnovers and outrebounded them 57-44 including a 27-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for Britanny Byrd who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Dasia Evans (188, college: Wright St.) contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. No Fear's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Janis Martinez replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds and center Guisselle Rodriguez added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Leonas. No Fear have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 10-1 record. Leonas lost seventh consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with ten games lost.
