The most exciting game of round 21 in the LSB took place in Esteli. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of second-best Real Esteli (9-4) to first ranked Brumas (11-3) 67-64 on Tuesday evening. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Real Esteli. The best player for the winners was American center Leon Hampton (213-95, college: Stillman, agency: Epic Sports Consulting LLC) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 24 rebounds. The former international Dayton Cacho (186-91) chipped in 15 points. Hampton is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was Dominican point guard Jaison Valdez (188-95) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and Cuban Lisvan Valdez (196-88) added 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Brumas have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 11-3 record. Real Esteli at the other side dropped to the third position with four games lost.
