LSBF top team - No Fear (11-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Leonas (2-11) 72-52. No Fear dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Leonas' 28. No Fear forced 24 Leonas turnovers and outrebounded them 59-32 including a 33-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. American forward Dasia Evans (188, college: Wright St.) nailed a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and the former international Iony Slate accounted for 8 points and 13 rebounds. No Fear's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Janis Martinez came up with 16 points and 9 rebounds and Ancara Reichele added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Leonas in the defeat. No Fear have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 11-1 record. Leonas lost eighth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 11 games lost. No Fear will play against league's second-placed Real Esteli in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Leonas will play against UAM and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
