Very expected game in Bayamon where 6th ranked Grises (1-27) were defeated by first ranked Vaqueros (24-2) 101-91 on Saturday. Vaqueros looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Grises' players. The former international guard Cliff Duran (193-89) scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Kristian Doolittle (201-97, college: Oklahoma, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Five Vaqueros players scored in double figures. American-Dominican guard Gerardo Suero (196-89, college: Albany) responded with 25 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Brandon Costner (206-87, college: NC State) scored 21 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Vaqueros have an impressive seven-game winning streak.
