Everything went according to plan when third ranked Bohemios (7-1) beat on the road 6th ranked Lagomar (4-2) 73-63 on Sunday. They outrebounded Lagomar 54-43 including 17 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was forward Pierina Rossi (171-4) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists. Forward Carolina Curbelo (178-2) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 16 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Victoria Pereyra (172-86) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists and Argentinian forward Paula Reggiardo (183-84) added 17 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Bohemios. They moved-up to second place. Newly promoted Lagomar keeps the sixth position with two games lost. Bohemios' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo D.Sporting.
