Top ranked Capitanes (22-9) recorded its ninth loss in Fajardo on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked Cariduros (17-13) 72-58. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Capitanes. Cariduros looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Antonio Ralat (188, college: UAB) who scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Leandro Allende (198-98, college: Barry, agency: Green Sports Management) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds. Five Cariduros players scored in double figures. The former international Christopher Gaston (201-89, college: Fordham) produced 7 points and 13 rebounds and Nigerian-American power forward Chinemelu Elonu (206-87, college: Texas A&M) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests.
