There was no surprise in Rio Gallegos where bottom-ranked H.Americano (0-6) was defeated by top-ranked Boca (7-0) 78-72 on Wednesday. Boca looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Kevin Hernandez (205-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and the former international forward Federico Aguerre (203-88) who added 23 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Boca players scored in double figures. Power forward Jose Peralta (202-95) responded with 25 points and point guard Victor Fernandez (180-99) scored 13 points and 5 assists. Boca have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-0 record. Loser H.Americano still closes the standings with six games lost. Boca will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. H.Americano will play against Union SF (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
