There was a minor upset in Santiago where one of their biggest challengers Tinguiririca SF (3-2) was defeated by sixth ranked Boston College (3-3) 86-73 on Sunday. Forward Rodrigo Rojas (-97) fired 34 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Felix Ibarra (187-93) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Oscar Becerra (-97) produced 13 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Juan Carrasco (-98) added 14 points respectively for lost side. Four Tinguiririca SF players scored in double figures. Boston College moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Truenos. Tinguiririca SF at the other side keeps the fourth position with two games lost. Boston College will meet at home Arabe de Valp. (#8) in the next round. Tinguiririca SF will play against Brisas (#10) and hope to secure a win.
