Arecibo outgunned Fajardo to regain the lead in the series. Capitanes dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Cariduros' 38 and made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Cariduros 44-23 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for naturalized U.S. Virgin Islands point guard Walter Hodge (183-86, college: Florida) who led his team to a victory scoring 33 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Mexican center Gustavo Ayon (207-85, college: SJSU) helped adding 12 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was American Victor Rudd (206-91, college: S.Florida) with 20 points and 7 rebounds and international forward Emmanuel Andujar (197-93, college: Manhattan) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Four Capitanes and five Cariduros players scored in double figures.
