This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of much higher ranked Cacique D. (15-7) to fifth ranked Ingenieria (12-11) 102-100 on Thursday evening. Ingenieria outrebounded Cacique D. 64-49 including a 43-29 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. It was a great evening for forward Ronald Lawton who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists. Puerto Rican forward Felix Rivera-Vega (201-97, college: Georgetown, KY, agency: Paris Global Sports) helped adding 23 points and 20 rebounds. Four Ingenieria players scored in double figures. At the losing side Dominican forward Xavier de la Rosa (196-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!), 13 rebounds and 5 assists and American center Scott Sill (206-92, college: Delaware St.) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds. Ingenieria moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Rivas. Cacique D. at the other side keeps the second position with seven games lost.
