Date: October 29, 2021
Guaynabo held off Bayamon to take 2-1 lead. Mets made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Mets made 7 blocks. It was a good game for American guard Tyquan Rolon (192-95, college: LeMoyne) who led his team to a victory with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Ghanian center Amida Brimah (213-94, college: UConn) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 14 rebounds and 5 blocks for the winners. The former international Javier Mojica (189-84, college: CCSU, agency: Paris Global Sports) answered with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Cuban center Ismael Romero (205-91, agency: Paris Global Sports) added 18 points in the effort for Vaqueros. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Vaqueros' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
