Arecibo held off Fajardo to take 3-1 lead in the series. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized U.S. Virgin Islands point guard Walter Hodge (183-86, college: Florida) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 5 assists and Mexican center Gustavo Ayon (207-85, college: SJSU) who added 9 points and 16 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side the former international point guard Alexander Abreu (179-91, college: UWG) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists and the former international guard Guillermo Diaz (188-85, college: Miami, FL) scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Cariduros players scored in double figures.
