Arecibo rallied past Fajardo to secure the Finals berth. Capitanes dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Cariduros' 38. They outrebounded Cariduros 43-25 including 30 on the defensive glass. Capitanes looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Nigerian-American power forward Chinemelu Elonu (206-87, college: Texas A&M) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds. Naturalized U.S. Virgin Islands point guard Walter Hodge (183-86, college: Florida) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 assists for the winners. Dominican guard Rigoberto Mendoza (187-92) answered with 32 points and 6 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) and international forward Emmanuel Andujar (197-93, college: Manhattan) added 16 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Cariduros. Five Capitanes and four Cariduros players scored in double figures.
