An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Puerto Montt. Leader Alemana P. faced 4th placed Univ. Austral. Guests from Paillaco (6-0) smashed host Univ. Austral (1-4) 90-59. Alemana P. dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Univ. Austral's 28. Alemana P. had a 37-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Univ. Austral's players. The former international center Tatiana Gomez (192-81) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and center Cosntanza Cardenas (185-98) chipped in 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Alemana P. players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Nicoll Ojeda (-93) with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and Paula Ortiz (-3) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Alemana P. have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-0 record. Univ. Austral lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with four games lost. Alemana P. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Univ. Austral's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Puerto Montt to the arena Ceb Puerto Montt.
