Fuerza Regia upset Plateros to gain 3-2 advantage in the series. Fuerza Regia dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Plateros' 30. American Dominique Johnson (192-87, college: Azusa Pacific) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 5 assists. Joseph Avila contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American Jordan Williams (198-92, college: N.Texas) answered with 25 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import forward Diamon Simpson (204-87, college: St.Mary's, CA) added 14 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Plateros. Five Fuerza Regia and four Plateros players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
