Brumas overcame Rivas in the opener. Brumas players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American Timothy Simmons (195-92, college: DBU) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 5 assists. The former international Dayton Cacho (186-91) contributed with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Brumas' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
