Undefeated Urupan (4-1) recorded its first loss in Montevideo. Visitors were edged by seventh ranked Urunday (3-2) 88-86. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Urupan. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Facundo Medina (190-94) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. American Justin Jackson (203-90, college: Cincinnati, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Lithuanian center Zygimantas Riauka (206-93, college: UW-Parkside) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks and the former international Hernando Caceres (202-94) added 21 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Urupan. Four Urunday and five Urupan players scored in double figures. Urunday moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Olimpia and Nacional. Newly promoted Urupan keeps the third position with one game lost. They share it with Goes.
