Finals Game 2: Panteras - Correcaminos 67-78

Correcaminos celebrated the third straight LPB title. They defeated Panteras on the road to complete the sweep of the championship series. Correcaminos outrebounded Panteras 48-31 including a 37-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Colombian forward Mabel Martinez (180-86) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists. Colombian power forward Tathiana Mosquera (197-89) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Correcaminos' coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Naturalized American guard Ashley Reid (165-98, college: Wichita St.) produced 25 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and Venezuelan Amanda Torres (170-89) added 18 points and 5 steals respectively for the hosts.
