Real Esteli outgunned Brumas for the second straight victory in the championship series. Real Esteli outrebounded Brumas 49-35 including a 35-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by Brumas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was center Barthel Lopez (213-89) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds. Puerto Rican guard Christian Pizarro (180-95, college: Miami Dade CC) chipped in 18 points, 9 assists and 5 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international Dalton Cacho (200-93) who recorded 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and American center Leon Hampton (213-95, college: Stillman) added 12 points and 12 rebounds respectively. Five Real Esteli and four Brumas players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
