Very expected game when 20th ranked Olimpico (1-10) lost to thirteenth ranked La Union (4-4) in Formosa 66-76 on Tuesday. Marcos Gonzalez (197-0) nailed a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds for the winning side and Agustin Sigel accounted for 19 points. Guard Leon Luna (183-2) came up with 17 points and forward Francisco Ruiz (194-98) added 6 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Olimpico in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. La Union moved-up to twelfth place. Olimpico lost ninth consecutive game. They dropped to the nineteenth position with ten games lost. They share it with Platense. La Union will meet at home H.Americano (#18) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Olimpico will have a break next round.
