Regular Season Round 39: Dep Viedma - Racing 94-80

Rather expected game in Rio Negro where 6th ranked Racing (7-6) was defeated by third ranked Dep Viedma (8-4) 94-80 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was point guard Raul Pelorosso (178-94) who scored 20 points and 6 assists. Matias Eidintas (186-95) chipped in 26 points. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Erbel De Pietro (185-88) who recorded 22 points and Joaquin Gamazo (198-91) added 14 points and 13 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Dep Viedma maintains third place with 8-4 record having just two points less than leader Independ.O. Loser Racing dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. They share it with Pergamino. Dep Viedma will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Racing will play against Bahia (#14) in Bahia Blanca and hope to secure a win.
