Rather predictable result when ninth ranked Rivadavia (7-8) defeated at home 12th ranked Dep Norte (4-9) 86-82 on Friday. The best player for the winners was center Abel Trejo (204-90) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds. Point guard Franco Sampaulise (180-0) chipped in 16 points. Four Rivadavia players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Lautaro Mare (196-98) who recorded 28 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and Franco Borsellino added 16 points and 4 steals respectively. Dep Norte's coach Alejandro Cupulutti tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Rivadavia maintains ninth position with 7-8 record. Loser Dep Norte keeps the twelfth place with nine games lost. Rivadavia will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Dep Norte will play against Jachal (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
