Very important is a road loss of third ranked Penarol (17-7) against ninth ranked Obras (12-10) on Saturday night. Visiting Penarol was defeated by Obras in a tough game in Buenos Aires 80-86. The former international point guard Pedro Barral (187-1994, agency: Duran International) notched 20 points and 8 assists to lead the effort and American forward Keith Stone (203-1997, college: Miami, FL, agency: Duran International) supported him with 18 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Obras' coach Bernardo Murphy allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 15 points and 6 rebounds by American forward Tevin Glass (206-1994, college: ETSU, agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for Penarol. Bruno Sansimoni (194-1996) added 17 points for the guests. Five Obras and four Penarol players scored in double figures. Obras maintains ninth position with 12-10 record.
