Regular Season Round 43: Jachal - Dep Norte 71-85

No shocking result in a game when twelfth ranked Dep Norte (5-9) defeated on the road 14th ranked Jachal (2-13) 85-71. Dep Norte players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Franco Borsellino who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. Celestino Cupulutti (186-93, agency: BIG) contributed with 19 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four Dep Norte players scored in double figures. Ismael Sarruff answered with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists and Cuban swingman Neysser Coutin (192-96) added 9 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Jachal. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Dep Norte moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Estudiantes T. Jachal lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Echague. Dep Norte will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Jachal will play at home against Independiente (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
