The most shocking disappointment of round 48 in the La Liga Argentina was a road defeat of 4th ranked Barrio Parque (13-6) to seventh ranked Salta Basket (10-8) 101-89. Salta Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Federico De Miguel (176-1997) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and swingman Cristian Cardo (198-1999) who added 20 points and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Andres Landoni (203-1990) with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Nahuel Buchaillot (178-2000) scored 12 points and 8 assists. Four Salta Basket and five Barrio Parque players scored in double figures. Salta Basket have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams.
