Everything went according to plan in Almagra where third ranked Boca Jrs (28-4) outleveled 17th ranked San Lorenzo (11-23) 102-71 on Monday. They outrebounded San Lorenzo 49-37 including 34 on the defensive glass. Boca Jrs looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Boca Jrs made 13 blocks. It was a great evening for forward Santino Romegialli (204-2003) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds. Swingman Juan Guerrero (194-2003) helped adding 13 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was guard Juan Ramayo (185-2002) with 14 points and power forward Ian Cerino (206-2002) scored 9 points and 11 rebounds. Five Boca Jrs and four San Lorenzo players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Boca Jrs have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Loser San Lorenzo keeps the seventeenth position with 23 games lost.
