American Donald Sims (190-1987, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). His fellow American import Victor Rudd (206-1991, college: S.Florida) contributed with 24 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Five Bigua players scored in double figures. American guard Isaac Hamilton (196-1994, college: UCLA) answered with 36 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and Irish-American forward Brian Fitzpatrick (202-1989, college: Bucknell) added 15 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Olimpia.
