The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of Phoenix (3-11) in Guanajuato on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by Mieleras (19-0) 119-35. Mieleras held Phoenix to an opponent 22.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 59.6 percent accuracy of the winners. Mieleras forced 31 Phoenix turnovers and had a 34-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 37 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Phoenix's players. It was a good game for point guard Yarelli Padilla (164-1998) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 7 rebounds and 12 assists.
