There was no surprise in Guayama where 6th ranked Brujos (3-10) were defeated by fourth ranked Atleticos (7-7) 92-80 on Saturday. Atleticos dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Brujos' 34 and made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (201-1995, college: Arizona) who scored 23 points and 6 rebounds. The other American import guard Nate Mason (188-1995, college: Minnesota) chipped in 18 points and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international Christopher Ortiz (203-1993, college: Kent St.) who recorded 21 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Terrico White (196-1990, college: Ole Miss) added 17 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists respectively. Five Atleticos and four Brujos players scored in double figures. Atleticos have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 7-7 record. Brujos lost fourth consecutive game.
