Regular Season Round 15: Guaynabo - Fajardo 80-88

The most shocking disappointment of round 15 in the BSN was a home defeat of 3rd placed Mets (7-10) to fourth ranked Cariduros (8-9) 88-80. It was a key game for the second position in the league. It was a great evening for American power forward Terrence Jones (206-1992, college: Kentucky) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists. His fellow American import Earl Clark (208-1988, college: Louisville) helped adding 13 points and 11 rebounds. The best for the losing side was naturalized American guard Kyle Vinales (188-1992, college: CCSU, agency: Inception Sports) with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international guard Tyquan Rolon (192-1995, college: LeMoyne) scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Cariduros and five Mets players scored in double figures. Cariduros moved-up to second place, which they share with Santurce. Mets at the other side dropped to the fourth position with ten games lost. Cariduros is looking forward to face Capitanes (#3) in Arecibo in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Mets will play on the road against Grises in Humacao and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
