Another exciting game for Indios (13-12) which played in Fajardo against Cariduros (12-13). Fourth ranked Indios won 84-78. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Kaleb Wesson (208-1999, college: Ohio St.) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and naturalized Nicaraguan guard Jared Ruiz (188-1992) who added 10 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Indios players scored in double figures. Indios' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American power forward Terrence Jones (206-1992, college: Kentucky) responded with 33 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and international forward Emmanuel Andujar (197-1993, college: Manhattan) scored 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Indios have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Santurce. Cariduros lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the third position with 13 games lost. They share it with San German. Indios will play against Piratas (#3) in Quebradillas in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Cariduros will play at home against Grises and hope to get back on the winning track.
