Important game to mention about took place in San Francisco. Seventh ranked Indios (4-5) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 5th ranked Reales (4-5) 93-90 in the game for the sixth place. It was a good game for American Breein Tyree (188-1998, college: Ole Miss) who led his team to a victory with 27 points and 7 rebounds. British center Kavell Bigby-Williams (211-1995, college: LSU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American forward Steve Taylor Jr (206-1993, college: Toledo) answered with 23 points and 5 rebounds and Angel Delgado (208-1994, college: Seton Hall) added 10 points and 18 rebounds in the effort for Reales. Five Reales players scored in double figures. Indios moved-up to sixth place, which they share with defeated Reales. Indios will play against higher ranked Marineros (#4) in Puerto Plata in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Reales will play on the road against Soles in Santo Domingo and hope to get back on the winning track.
