Obregon upset Hermosillo to narrow the deficit. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American players dominated the game. Jimmy Hall (203-1994, college: Kent St., agency: Slash Sports) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Germain Jordan (198-1986, college: Dillard) contributed with 23 points for the winners. Four Halcones de Ciudad Obregon players scored in double figures. Jeremy Hollowell (203-1994, college: Georgia St., agency: Network Sports International) answered with 21 points and 6 rebounds and guard Jimond Ivey (196-1996, college: Akron) added 14 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Rayos de Hermosillo. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
