Finals Game 5: Quimsa - Instituto 84-85

Instituto clinched La Liga title. They nipped Quimsa in the decisive fifth game of the championship series to capture the trophy. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 25-17 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Instituto made 19-of-19 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Instituto especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. International Martin Cuello (193-1993) stepped up and scored 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. He sank two free throws with 9 seconds remaining to ice the win for Instituto. International guard Nicolas Romano (200-1987) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds. American power forward Eric Anderson (204-1993, college: New Haven, agency: Duran International) responded with 21 points and 5 rebounds and the former international point guard Juan Brussino (185-1991) scored 15 points and 7 assists. Four Instituto and five Quimsa players scored in double figures. Quimsa's coach Sebastian Gonzalez tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
