Teclenas (6-1) recorded its first loss on the court of top-ranked San Marcos on Tuesday night. Visitors were rolled over by San Marcos 56-28. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Teclenas. San Marcos held Teclenas to an opponent 18.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 31.9 percent accuracy of the winners. The best player for the winners was Alicia Abarca (165-1997) who scored 4 points and 18 rebounds. Sara Garcia (165-1984) chipped in 15 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Karina Casco (168-1992) who recorded 6 points and 6 rebounds and center Paola Ortiz (172-2001) added 5 points and 5 rebounds respectively.
