Hermosillo topped Los Mochis to open 3-1 lead. Rayos de Hermosillo looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Terrence Drisdom (196-1992, college: CPP) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international forward Jorge Camacho (203-1989, college: EKU) contributed with 20 points and 5 assists for the winners. American power forward Kwame Alexander (201-1990, college: CSUSB, agency: BIG) replied with 23 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import swingman Wayne Runnels (198-1989, college: Creighton) added 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Pioneros Los Mochis. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Pioneros Los Mochis' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
