Second Stage Round 3: Indios - Titanes 101-99

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Titanes (2-1) in San Francisco on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by Indios (3-0) 101-99. Indios looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for naturalized American guard Adonys Henriquez (201-1994, college: St.Louis) who led his team to a victory with 31 points. Guard Juan Suero (196-1993) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Point guard Richard Bautista (185-1997) answered with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (perfect behind the arc making all five shots) and American swingman Jordan Williams (198-1992, college: N.Texas) added 21 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Titanes. Four Indios and five Titanes players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Indios are looking forward to face Reales (#4) in La Vega in the next round. Titanes will play on the road against Soles in Santo Domingo and are hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
