Adelitas upset Astros to take 2-1 lead in the Finals. The best player for the winners was American center Danielle Adams (185-1989, college: Texas A&M) who scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Naturalized American point guard Hazel Ramirez (165-1992, college: LMU) chipped in 14 points and 6 assists. Four Adelitas players scored in double figures. Adelitas' coach Sebastian Sucarrat used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Joy Adams (180-1993, college: Iona) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import guard Arica Carter (173-1996, college: Louisville) added 21 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) respectively.
