Indios crushed Leones to take 3-2 lead in the Finals. Indios made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 24 Leones turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Leones' players. The best player for the winners was naturalized American guard Adonys Henriquez (201-1994, college: St.Louis) who scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Guard Juan Suero (196-1993) chipped in 13 points and 6 assists. Four Indios players scored in double figures. Naturalized Spanish Eulis Baez (201-1982, college: W.Illinois) produced 5 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and Juan Guerrero (203-1993) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
