The most exciting game of round 12 in the LSB took place in Jinotega. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of one of their biggest challengers Leones MGA (6-5) to fifth ranked Brumas (6-5) 68-66 in the game for the fourth place. Brumas forced 21 Leones MGA turnovers. It was a good game for Cuban center Marvin Cairo (203-1991) who led his team to a victory with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Josmel Martinez (198, college: Broward CC) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and center Hans Perez added 17 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Leones MGA. Brumas moved-up to fourth place, which they share with defeated Leones MGA.
