Rather expected game in Barquisimeto where Patriotas (0-4) were crushed by Pastoras (2-0) 92-49 on Wednesday. Pastoras held Patriotas to an opponent 20.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 50.0 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Patriotas 63-38 including a 44-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Pastoras looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Patriotas' players. The best player for the winners was Nicole Garcia (174-2001) who scored 19 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international center Dayenlys Veliz (179-2000) chipped in 21 points and 7 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Four Pastoras players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Lusney Parra (-2004) who recorded 17 points and 7 rebounds and Hillary Perez added 12 points and 4 steals respectively.
