Very significant was Sesi/Arara.'s (#3, 3-0) victory against 4th ranked FR/SEMELP (1-4) 77-38. Sesi/Arara. forced 32 FR/SEMELP turnovers and outrebounded them 39-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by FR/SEMELP's players. Vitoria Domingos (181-1996) scored 14 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and the former international power forward Aline Moura (185-1997) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds during the contest.
