Strangely Guaiqueries outrebounded Supersonicos 35-17 including a 12-1 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American-Nigerian swingman Tanksley Efianayi (198-1994, college: UCF) who led the winners and scored 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Argentinian point guard Leandro Vildoza (180-1994) accounted for 18 points, 9 assists and 4 steals for the winning side. The former international power forward Francisco Centeno (203-1985) came up with 19 points and international Edgar Martinez (199-1997) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Guaiqueries in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game.
